1998 Design Proposal
For the traveller, the Bass Coast and its hinterland is a journey through place and time, along windswept sands with gulls above, over rolling hills of greenest pasture, down tunnels of foregone toil, and to reborn forests for tomorrow's children. The Wonthaggi Wayside Stop will reflect this movement through nature and history in a strong architectural statement.
In 2000, the Wonthaggi Wayside Stop was awarded a Metal Building Award of Excellence by the Metal Building Products Manufacturers Association (BPMA).
